See You in Another Life is nominated for four 2025 Feroz Awards

The 2025 Feroz Awards are coming, shining the spotlight on a number of pieces that have captured the attention of the audiovisual world in recent months, and others that have yet to hit the screens and platforms. Finalists have been chosen from a total of 157 films and 59 series.

See You in Another Life, the Disney+ series produced by Kubik Films, has been nominated for Best Script and Best Series. In addition, Tamara Casellas and Pol López have been nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor.

The 2024 Almería Festival – the 23rd edition of the Andalusian awards – ended this weekend, giving recognition to the year’s best debut films and TV series, signalling the start of the awards season. SEE YOU IN ANOTHER LIFE received the Best Miniseries Showrunner award, which was collected by brothers Jorge and Alberto Sánchez-Cabezudo of Kubik Films.

‘Nos vemos en otra vida’ (Disney+) triumphed, winning two awards: Best Actor and Best Newcomer Actor for Pol López and Roberto Gutiérrez, respectively.

HENNEO magazine Cinemania, a benchmark in the film world and renowned for its analyses of series, held the second edition of the Seriemanía Awards on Thursday evening, giving recognition to the best productions of the moment. A tribute to artistic talent and audiovisual quality, the awards evening brought together actors, directors, scriptwriters and producers, etc. who made the leap from the small screen to the red carpet at Madrid’s Espacio Ventas venue.

‘Nos vemos en otra vida’ (Disney+) triumphed, winning two awards: Best Actor and Best Newcomer Actor for Pol López and Roberto Gutiérrez, respectively.

“These awards are like shock therapy. We choose the best series of the year; the ones we liked most, the most original, the ones we were most gripped by. You can ask for explanations later, we’re original in that sense, too”, explained Carlos Marañón, Director of Cinemanía, describing the gala as “a celebration of talent, ideas, good acting, technical and artistic expertise, care and the best series of the season category”.

Nos vemos en otra vida‘ (See You in Another Life), the original Disney+ series, has been awarded the Biznaga de Plata Audience Award at the 27th edition of the Malaga Film Festival.

See you in Another Life, created by brothers Jorge and Alberto Sánchez-Cabezudo (Crematorio, La Zona), is now available exclusively on Disney+.

SEE YOU IN ANOTHER LIFE stars Roberto Gutiérrez in the role of Baby, his acting debut; Pol López (winner of the Gaudí Prize for Suro) as Emilio Trashorras; Quim Ávila (Wild Flowers) in the role of adult Baby; Tamara Casellas (winner of Biznaga de Plata Award for Best Actress at the Málaga Festival for Ama and nominated a Feroz Award for El hijo zurdo) as Baby’s mother; and Mourad Ouani (La Unidad) as ‘El Chino’, one of the jihadist group leaders, among others.

The original Disney+ series, created by brothers Jorge and Alberto Sánchez-Cabezudo and produced in collaboration with Kubik Films, was directed by Jorge. The Sánchez-Cabezudo brothers were executive producers as well as scriptwriters for the series, together with Pablo and Daniel Remón (winners of a Goya for Best Script Adaptation for Intemperie), Roberto Martín Maiztegui (La Ruta) and Guillermo Chapa. The team is complemented by other distinguished professionals with remarkable careers, including Borja Soler (La Ruta), director of two episodes, and Olivier Arson (winner of the Goya for Best Original Score for As Bestas and El Reino) and Abel Hernández who worked on the musical composition.
